Hi, I'm Audrey Staker, the founder and president of the Golden Years Club!

 

I started volunteering as a musician at my senior home when I was just a freshman in high school. It was so fun to get to know many of the elderly in my community, and I gained a love for volunteer work. Shortly after, I created a senior home service club at my high school so that my friends could volunteer also.

Thus, the Golden Years Club was born.

People at my high school loved the opportunity to volunteer; pretty soon my club had over 150 members! Eager to spread the impact further, I created this nonprofit so that other high schools can easily serve their communities also.

Now, we're here. This nonprofit organization is proving that teenagers everywhere are able to create significant change in their communities. High school students in Golden Years Clubs are spreading love throughout generations while learning important life skills and values.

 

Together, we're making a difference.
